YEOMANSTOWN YEARLINGS LAND BIG RACE DOUBLE (12 Jun 2010) Yesterday was another bumper day for Yeomanstown stock, as Victoire de Lyphar weaved his way through a high class field to comfortably land the Reg Griffin Memorial Trophy (Heritage H'cap) At York. No sooner had the prize giving taken place, and Burning Thread (Captain Rio X Desert Rose) coasted home with a pillar to post victory in the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown for owner/trainer Tim Ethrington. Fingers crossed that this run of form of Yeomanstown stock can carry on to Ascot next week where we are strongly represented through the likes of Puff, Mister Mananan and Acrostic.
